Today the Illinois Office of Tourism kicked off National Travel and Tourism Week with the announcement of a new Frank Lloyd Wright Trail in Illinois. The Charnley-Persky House, which serves as the headquarters of the Society of Architectural Historians, is among the 13 Wright-designed buildings featured on the new trail.

Designed by Louis Sullivan with assistance from his junior draftsman, Frank Lloyd Wright, the Charnley-Persky House is recognized as a pivotal work of modern American architecture. Docent-led tours of the exterior and interior of the Charnley-Persky House (1891–1892) are offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the year.
