UK Visa Information and Travel Discounts for SAH Glasgow Conference

by SAH News | Feb 09, 2017

Discounts on airline travel and airport shuttle service for the SAH 2017 Glasgow conference are now available on the Hotel & Transportation page, along with information regarding UK visas.

If you will be attending the SAH 2017 Annual International Conference, please be aware that your passport or identity card will be checked when you arrive at a UK port or airport to make sure you’re allowed to come into the country. It must be valid for the whole of your stay. You may also need a visa to come into or travel through the UK, depending on your nationality. The earliest you can apply for a UK visa is 3 months before you travel. You should get a decision on your visa within 3 weeks. Check if you need a UK visa at gov.uk/check-uk-visa.

Visit www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/arriving-in-the-uk for more information on traveling to the UK.
