Anne d’Harnoncourt, director of the Philadelphia Museum of Art from 1982 to 2008, believed passionately that museums must be active global and local citizens. This conference will bring together important museum leaders, civic leaders, artists, and architects to discuss how museums can serve the vibrant and diverse civic life that we want in the 21st century.
