Upcoming Programs

SAH Study Programs have been postponed until further notice.

Study Program Fellowships

Study Program Fellowships are offered in conjunction with each study program to allow for a graduate student or emerging professional to participate in the tour.

SAH Field Seminars

Designed for: Those whose interest in architecture goes beyond the standard guidebook
Purpose:
To provide participants with an intensive firsthand experience of a region's built environment
Length: 10–12-day program that includes multiple buildings and sites in locations around the world

Includes the following:
  • Site visits and lectures designed by a member with authoritative expertise and knowledge
  • Unprecedented access to sites usually inaccessible to the general public
  • An environment that fosters intellectual discussion and debate
  • Unique, customized tours that are not “canned”
  • AIA/CES learning units
While SAH does its best to include the most relevant and exciting sites for our travelers, we cannot include them all. Many travelers find it valuable to arrive a day or two early or stay on a day or two in order to visit other sites that are of interest.

SAH Study Days

Designed for: Students and anyone who has an interest in hands-on learning
Purpose: To provide an in-depth experience of the architecture and/or landscapes of a city and/or behind-the-scenes access to exhibitions and museum collections
Length: One-day programs held within and outside the U.S.

Includes the following:
  • Tours of museum exhibitions
  • Tours of architecture and landscapes
  • Talks with architects and patrons of a building
  • Lectures and discussions
  • AIA/CES learning units
