Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians (JSAH)

The Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians (JSAH) is the quarterly scholarly journal published by the Society.

Beginning March 1, 2010, JSAH online, a multimedia edition of the SAH journal, will be available to individual members of SAH.  To access it, click on the Member Login in the upper right section of the SAH website and log in with your user name and password.  All issues of JSAH, from 1941 to 2010, will be available on the site.

Click on the following links to view a sample article from the inaugural issue of JSAH online, or to read the Inside Higher Ed article about the Society's innovative journal that the article refers to as "Online Journal 2.0".   Press releases about JSAH online and access to the full journal for interested members of the media are also available.

As one of the leading English-language journals on the built environment, each issue of JSAH offers three to four scholarly articles on American and International topics, reviews of recently-published books, reviews of architecture exhibitions, and a variety of editorials designed to place the discipline of architectural history within a larger intellectual context.  Subscriptions to JSAH are a benefit of membership in the Society of Architectural Historians.
