Requirements
Entrance: GRE (minimum 1050 combined verbal and quantitative), 3.0 GPA in major, writing sample, personal statement, letters of recommendation
M.A.: 24 course hours, 6 thesis credits, 1 language (French, German, or Italian), thesis
Ph.D.: 24 additional course hours, 2 languages (German and French or Italian), 1 major and 1 minor field, oral exams, dissertation, plus requirements for Master's degree
