Financial Aid: Varies annually. There is one recruitment grant from the Graduate School, for $10,500, plus tuition waver and $12,000 from donors. Fellowships typically vary from $400 to $4,000. Teaching assistantships, readerships, instuctor positions, and research assistantships also available.

Requirements
Entrance: GRE, undergraduate major in art history or appropriate equivalent
M.A.: 55 credits of art history course work, including 10 thesis credits, knowledge of German or French, or other foreign language (e.g. Chinese or Japanese) if deemed appropriate by the faculty
Ph.D.: M.A. in art history or equivalent required for entrance, completion of 60 course credits beyond the master's, knowledge of German or French and/or equivalent foreign language, 30 dissertation credits
