The City of Portland has just released a draft update to its 1980 Comprehensive Plan and is now giving the public an opportunity to provide feedback on issues such as historic preservation.
In order to help ensure that Portland’s historic resources are viewed as a vital component of the Comprehensive Plan, we’re bringing together City planning staff for this panel discussion moderated by Bosco-Milligan Foundation Vice-President Steve Dotterrer.
This session is an opportunity for two important things:
1. It is your chance to learn about the provisions for historic resources that are in the draft Comprehensive Plan from Eric Engstrom and Bill Cunningham, the city staff who drafted the proposals.
2. It is also your chance to work with other Portland preservationists to prepare comments on the plan for the Planning Commission hearings which begin later in the month of September. To learn more about Portland's 2035 Comprehensive Plan, go to www.portlandoregon.gov/bps/57352
