The Canadian Centre for Architecture Announces the First 2013 Mellon Lecture

The Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) announces the first 2013 Mellon Lecture featuring Japanese architect Yoshiharu Tsukamoto, founding partner of Atelier Bow-Wow in Tokyo with Momoyo Kaijima.

The lecture will take place on Thursday 7 March at 6 pm.

On this occasion, Yoshiharu Tsukamoto will present his concept of Architectural Behavior, which investigates the physical responses to natural elements such as light, air, heat, wind, water, human behavior related to custom, and the way in which buildings relate to the city and their surroundings.

The lecture will be in English and will be held at the CCA’s Paul Desmarais Theatre. Admission is free. The lecture will also be streamed live.
