Frank Lloyd Wright's Modern Human

SAH is partnering with the Chicago Humanities Festival to present "Frank Lloyd Wright's Modern Human," a discussion of Wright's legacy with architect Jeanne Gang and SAH member Barry Bergdoll, chief curator of architecture and design at New York’s Museum of Modern Art. Their conversation, moderated by University of Illinois architectural historian and SAH member Dianne Harris, will be informed by (and showcase) the newly available Wright archive, recently acquired by MoMA and Columbia University’s Avery Architectural and Fine Arts Library.

The lecture will take place at Northwestern University's Thorne Auditorium, 375 East Chicago Avenue, Chicago, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tickets$15; teachers and students $5. The theme of the 24th Chicago Humanities Festival, which runs October 13, 20 and November 1-10, is Animal: What Makes Us Human?
