2014 Call for Session Proposals
At its 2014 annual conference in Austin, Texas, the Society of Architectural Historians will offer six concurrent paper sessions, in six modules over two days, with a total of 36 paper sessions. If you have been interested in chairing a session at a SAH conference, this is an excellent time to submit a session proposal. Members of the Society, representatives of SAH Chapters, affiliated societies, partner organizations, graduate students, independent scholars and others who wish to chair a session in 2014 are asked to submit proposals via email by January 15, 2013, to Prof. Kenneth A. 2013 SAHARA Fellowships
SAH is pleased to offer another round of SAHARA Travel Fellowships in 2013 to document the global built environment for teaching and research. These seven fellowships will provide a reimbursement of up to $1,500 for travel anywhere in the world. Priority will be given to proposals focusing on areas not currently represented in SAHARA. Read More

Accepting Nominations for JSAH Editor
SAH is accepting self-nominations for the next Editor of JSAH to serve a three year term beginning January 2015. The JSAH Editor is responsible for the content and focus of the journal, which is a blind-peer reviewed international journal devoted to all aspects of the history of the built environment and spatial practice. Read More
   
SAH Blog 
This summer, SAH had two Metcalf Fellowship Interns from the University of Chicago, Hannah Loftus and Kevin Robinson, who worked on contributing Chicago photographs to SAHARA. Together, they uploaded more than 900 images documenting new Chicago parks and vernacular Chicago architecture. Obituary - Robert W. Duemling (1929-2012)
