SAH offers more than 30 fellowships annually

Depending on many factors; reimbursements, stipends and fellowships may be considered taxable income; if so, SAH will send the recipient a 1099 at the end of the year in accordance with federal law. Keep copies of any receipts and contact a tax preparation professional for advice.

Annual Conference Fellowships

Each year SAH awards between twenty and thirty fellowships to enable speakers who are presenting papers to attend the SAH annual conference.  All recipients are required to submit a minimum of 25 annotated images to the SAHARA database.  All fellowship applicants must be current members of SAH.

Research Fellowships

The Society offers several fellowships to support scholars in their field of research.

Grants

Each year, SAH provides up to ten membership grants in support of emerging scholars and professionals in the field of architectural history and/or its related disciplines.
