The Society of Architectural Historians will offer four grants of up to $250 each to assist Speakers, Session Chairs, and Graduate Student Lightning Talk participants who are bringing their child/children to the SAH Annual International Conference. The reimbursable grants are intended to reduce the overall financial burden of parents who are playing a role in the conference.
These reimbursable grants will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. A wait list will be kept in time/date order if a grant becomes available.
Eligible Grantees:
Speakers, Session Chairs, and Graduate Student Lightning Talk participants who are bringing their child/children to the SAH Annual International Conference.
Qualifying grant to reduce parent conference expenses (up to $250):
Airfare or other documentable transportation expenses for parent to/from conference.
For liability reasons, SAH cannot reimburse conference participants directly for childcare expenses. We can, however, reduce a parent’s conference expenses and ask that you provide airfare or other documentable receipts for the parent who is participating in the conference.
Grant Awards:
Reimbursements will be made after the conference with qualifying receipts.
Recipients will have 30 days from the end of the conference to submit receipts for reimbursement.
Application: Apply via the conference registration portal.
