SAH 2022 Annual International Conference

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
April 27–May 1

East Liberty Mural Credit Jin Wu
Child Care Grants

The Society of Architectural Historians will offer four grants of up to $250 each to assist speakers, session chairs, and Graduate Student Lightning Talk participants who are bringing their child/children to the SAH Annual International Conference.

The reimbursable grants are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are intended to reduce the financial burden of parents who are playing a role in the conference. A wait list will be kept in time/date order if a grant becomes available.

Qualifying Conference Expenses
For liability reasons, SAH cannot reimburse conference participants directly for childcare expenses. We can, however, reduce a parent’s conference expenses. Please provide receipts for airfare, transportation, meals, or other conference-related expenses (up to $250) for the parent who is participating in the conference.

Reimbursements
Reimbursements will be made after the conference with qualifying receipts. Recipients will have 30 days from the end of the conference to submit receipts for reimbursement.

How to Apply
You will have the opportunity to apply for a Child Care Grant when you register for the conference.
