The Rosenwald Schools GIS Mapping Project

This webinar will highlight the important role of Rosenwald Schools in American history and the present day. John Hildreth, Senior Advisor for Special Projects at the National Trust, will explain the historical context of Rosenwald Schools. Ian Spangler, PhD student at the University of Kentucky, will then do a deep dive into an ongoing GIS mapping project, examining their current status as well as the potential role of the GIS dataset going forward.
