ARRIS: Journal of Southeast Chapter of SAH (SESAH)

The editors of Arris, the journal of the Southeast Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians (SESAH), are seeking contributions to volume 32 (2021) in the form of research articles, field notes, and book reviews.  Submission received after 1 March 2021 will be considered for future issues.

Established in 1989, Arris is an annual, peer-reviewed print journal that publishes original scholarship on all aspects of the history of architecture and landscape, with a particular interest in the American South. Starting in 2019, it is published in partnership with the University of North Carolina Press. Arris is a benefit of SESAH membership (see https://sesah.org/join-support-contact/#join-us).

Volume 31 (2020) will appear soon.  For further information on Arris, including a list of the contents of all past issues, see SESAH’s website at https://sesah.org/sesah-journal-arris/ and https://sesah.org/arris-past-issues/

Submissions of articles and field notes for future issues of Arris are accepted on a rolling basis by the editors.  Prospective authors should send their work to Mark Reinberger (reinberg@uga.edu) and Vandana Baweja (vbaweja@ufl.edu).  For details on how to submit, see https://sesah.org/arris-call-for-papers/ and https://sesah.org/arris-submission-guidelines/.

Anyone interested in writing a book review is welcome to contact the book review editor.  They should send an email to Bryan Norwood (bookrevieweditor@sesah.org) that includes their institutional affiliation and a short list of areas of competence/interest for reviews.  Further details can be found at the URLs above.
