Stephen Fox Wins ICAA Arthur Ross Award

The Institute of Classical Architecture and Art (ICAA) has announced its 33rd Annual Arthur Ross Awards for excellence in the classical tradition.  

Among the award recipients is SAH life member Stephen Fox of Houston, Texas, who will receive the award for excellence in History, Journalism, Editing and Publishing. Fox is an architectural historian and a fellow of the Anchorage Foundation of Texas. He is an adjunct lecturer in architecture at Rice University and The University of Houston, and author of The Campus Guide: Rice University, The Houston Architectural Guide, and The Galveston Architecture Guidebook.  Fox is a regular contributor to CITE Magazine and has been described by The Houston Chronicle as, "a sort of unofficial collective conscience for the city..."

Other award recipients include David M. Schwarz Architects of Washington, D.C. (Architecture), Dennis Collier of Bangor, PA (Artisanship), Salve Regina University in Newport, RI (Stewardship), Edward J. Fraughton of South Jordan, UT (Sculpture), and Jacob Collins of New York, NY (Board of Directors Honor).
