Announcing New JSAH Book Review Editors

Jun 14, 2016 by SAH News
Two new Book Review Editors have been appointed for the Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians (JSAH). Dale Allen Gyure, professor of architecture at Lawrence Technological University, will commission reviews of books on North and South American architecture. Sheila Crane, associate professor of architectural history at University of Virginia, will commission reviews of books that fall under the category of Europe, Africa and Asia from 1750.

Published since 1941, JSAH is widely recognized as a leading English-language journal on history of the built environment. Published four times per year, each issue offers four to five scholarly articles on topics from all periods of history and all parts of the world, reviews of recent books, exhibitions, films, and other media, and a variety of editorials and opinion pieces designed to place the discipline of architectural history within a larger intellectual context.

With print and online editions, JSAH represents the next generation of scholarly communication, utilizing multimedia content to bring topics to life for those interested in the history of architecture, landscape architecture, and urbanism.

To submit a book for review, please send it to the appropriate editor. Contact information for Book Review Editors can be found at sah.org/jsah.
