Thanks to our generous supporters, in just ONE DAY we were able to raise over $5,000 for SAH Archipedia, our digital encyclopedia of architecture and landscapes in the US. Donations came in through our #GivingTuesday donation page, fundraisers set up on our Facebook page, and offline contributions, making this our most successful #GivingTuesday to date.

#GivingTuesday funds will be matched dollar-for-dollar through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, which brings the total raised to more than $10,000.
 This money will go toward:

- Commissioning teachers to write lesson plans
- Commissioning authors to give lectures
- Commissioning leading historians to write new essays and building entries
- Updating content drawn from the Buildings of the United States series
- Redesigning the site for optimal viewing on mobile devices

With the #GivingTuesday donations we are on our way toward meeting our NEH matching grant of $80,000. If you were unable to participate in #GivingTuesday and would still like to support SAH Archipedia or other SAH initiatives, you can donate online at sah.org/donate

We are so grateful for your support of our mission to promote the study, interpretation, and conservation of the built environment worldwide for the benefit of all. Thank you!
