Canadian Architecture: A Virtual Tour with the Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians

by SAH News | Apr 10, 2023

The Society of Architectural Historians is meeting in Montréal, Canada from April 12 to April 16, 2023. Inspired by the conference’s Canadian setting and SAH2023’s walking tours/events, the editors of the Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians have combed through the journal’s archives to put together a “virtual tour” of Canadian architectural highlights. We invite you to learn more about Canada’s rich architectural history via the articles and book/media reviews below. We are making this content free to read for a limited period of time.

Founded in 1940, the Society of Architectural Historians is an international nonprofit membership organization that promotes the study, interpretation and conservation of architecture, design, landscapes and urbanism worldwide. SAH serves a network of local, national and international institutions and individuals who, by profession or interest, focus on the built environment and its role in shaping contemporary life. SAH promotes meaningful public engagement with the history of the built environment through advocacy efforts, print and online publications, and local, national and international programs.
