Jun 2, 2022 by SAH News
The Society of Architectural Historians invites graduate students and emerging professionals to apply to participate in the virtual GAHTC Teacher-to-Teacher Workshop, “Interrogating “Identities” in Global Built Environments,” that will take place on Wednesday, June 22 to Thursday, June 23, from 2:00 to 7:30 PM CDT. The workshop is limited to 30 participants. The program is organized by Charlette Caldwell (Columbia University), Elisa Dainese (Georgia Tech), Anoma Pieris (University of Melbourne), and Flavia Marcello (Swinburne University of Technology). SAH is pleased to announce that this is a global event. Speakers included in the workshop range from universities from North America to China and Australia. As such, the event will take place at a time that is most convenient for both speakers and participants. Please refer to the schedule to see specific times. Information about the SAH/GAHTC Teacher-to-Teacher Workshop is available online.

Applicants interested in participating will need to submit a statement of interest (up to 250 words) and a two-page CV through the SAH online portal. The deadline to submit an application is June 12 at 11:59 pm Central Daylight Time (CDT).

SAH membership is not required to apply, but participants are required to join SAH if they are not a member by June 22 ($50 Student Rate or $65 Reduced Rate). The workshop will be recorded (except for breakout sessions), therefore all participants will need to agree to be recorded.

Applications will be reviewed by the workshop organizers and Patricia Morton, SAH President, with a focus on selecting those who would benefit most from participating in the workshop.
