Alabama’s Classic Buildings is now complete on SAH Archipedia. State coordinator Robert Gamble has compiled a list of 100 of the state’s most representative buildings and sites. Featuring contributions from several scholars, this collection surveys Alabama’s built environment and includes additional linked entries highlighting individual structures within such historic sites as Tuskegee University and the Marshall Space Flight Center.

SAH Archipedia is an interactive, media-rich online encyclopedia of American architecture developed by the Society of Architectural Historians in collaboration with the University of Virginia Press.Over 18,000 building histories, photographs, maps, and essays from the Society's award-winning Buildings of the United States series are available online to SAH members and institutional subscribers in SAH Archipedia. Its open access counterpart, SAH Archipedia Classic Buildings, is available to the public at sah-archipedia.org and contains 100 of the most representative buildings of each state and lesson plans.
