SAH Archipedia: Washington's Classic Buildings Completed

From Seattle's Space Needle to Spokane's Riverfront Park, 235 entries covering the state of Washington have been added to SAH Archipedia. Featuring contributions from a number of architectural historians working under the guidance of state coordinators J. Philip Gruen and Robert R. Franklin, this collection surveys Washington's built environment.

SAH Archipedia is an interactive, media-rich online encyclopedia of American architecture developed by the Society of Architectural Historians in collaboration with the University of Virginia PressOver 20,000 building histories, photographs, maps, and essays from the Society's award-winning Buildings of the United States series are available online to SAH members and institutional subscribers in SAH Archipedia. Its open access counterpart, SAH Archipedia Classic Buildings, is available to the public at sah-archipedia.org and contains peer-reviewed essays, photos, and maps for more than 4,100 structures in all 50 states.
