Save the Date: MoMA Study Day

The Society of Architectural Historians will present a Study Day at the Museum of Modern Art on Friday, November 1, 2019. The program will follow the October 21st reopening of MoMA, featuring new galleries and spaces by architects Diller Scofidio + Renfro, in collaboration with Gensler. Martino Stierli, Philip Johnson Chief Curator of Architecture and Design, will host the Study Day.

A Study Program Fellowship will be awarded to a graduate student to attend the Study Day. Registration $199 per person. Limited to 25 participants. Details to follow.

Founded in 1940, the Society of Architectural Historians is an international nonprofit membership organization that promotes the study, interpretation and conservation of architecture, design, landscapes and urbanism worldwide. SAH serves a network of local, national and international institutions and individuals who, by profession or interest, focus on the built environment and its role in shaping contemporary life. SAH promotes meaningful public engagement with the history of the built environment through advocacy efforts, print and online publications, and local, national and international programs.
