Mark Hinchman Named Co-Editor of SAHARA

Mark HinchmanThe Society of Architectural Historians is pleased to announce that Mark Hinchman has been appointed as the new co-editor of SAHARA, SAH's digital image archive.

Mark is a historian of design history, African architectural history, and global modernism at University of Nebraska–Lincoln's College of Architecture and a longtime contributor to SAHARA with more than 8,000 photos uploaded to date. His application expressed great enthusiasm for the position along with a thoughtful look at how he and co-editor Jacqueline Spafford could continue to elevate SAHARA in line with SAH’s mission and initiatives. As co-editor of SAHARA, Mark will serve as an ex officio member of the SAH Board.

SAH thanks outgoing SAHARA Co-Editor Jeffrey Klee for his extraordinary work with SAHARA and his wisdom as a member of the SAH Board. Jeff has collaborated on the SAHARA team from the online resource's very beginning in 2008 and his commitment to SAHARA has never wavered during this time.
