The Society of Architectural Historians will honor the team behind one of Chicago’s most ambitious projects, the historic rehabilitation of the long-vacant, 2.8 million-square-foot Post Office, which has been brought back to life as a hub for business and commerce. Join us for an in-person celebration at The Old Post Office. The awards ceremony will be followed by a reception in the spacious, 4,910-square-foot Telegram Lounge, complete with east-facing view of the Chicago River, wrap-around bar, bocce lane, and pool table. Enjoy drinks, hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction, and great company in this unique space.

Support of SAH Celebrates (formerly the SAH Awards Gala) provides funding for SAH's educational programs and publications such as SAH Archipedia
, an open-access encyclopedia of the built environment of the United States, and the award-winning Buildings of the United States
book series. Proceeds also help support the restoration of the Charnley-Persky House
(1891–92), designed by Louis Sullivan and Frank Lloyd Wright, which serves as SAH’s international headquarters in Chicago.
