The SAH Historic Interiors Group's (HIG) General Business meeting gives members a chance to engage with the Affiliate Group’s leadership and provide feedback and input.
After some brief updates and committee reports, this year the Fall meeting will adopt a Pecha Kucha format, with speakers drawn from HIG membership responding to the prompt: “What I did on my summer vacation: HIG in the field/museum/archive.” The focus will be on exploring historic interiors through personal experience.
A Pecha Kucha format is rapid and visual. Using a 20X20 format, the presenter shows 20 slides in sequence and speaks for 20 seconds about each, for a total of 6 minutes 40 seconds. We will have time for 6 presentations and are looking for volunteers. Do you have something to share? Please contact us at historicinteriorssah@gmail.com with your proposal.
