Description: For over 75 years, the Lake Erie Nature and Science Center has educated and inspired the public "to understand, appreciate and take responsibility for our natural world." An affiliate of the Cleveland Metroparks and located on the Huntington Reservation in Bay Village, the center recently expanded with the opening of the new "Wildlife Gardens." Catherine Timko, Executive Director, will talk about the history of the LENSC and lead a tour of the facility. After this portion of the program concludes at 11:00 AM, the attendees will assemble in the "multipurpose" room of the center for a lecture by James Sweeney, local author and former Plain Dealer reporter, about his book What's the Deal with Dead Man's Curve? And Other Really Good Questions About Cleveland.
