Call for Nominations/Self-Nominations to Leadership Team of SAH Women in Architecture Affiliate Group
The SAH Women in Architecture Affiliate Group seeks voices of the SAH community to nominate group leaders at every stage of career and from diverse professional backgrounds. The Group is looking to expand our team of designated leaders to energize and develop our 10 programs, attend SAH Conferences and moderate Group membership meetings there, organize our webinars and in-person special events, broaden our networks, and strengthen our voice across 5 social media platforms. Deadline: October 17, 2025.
Please nominate candidates for leadership positions:
- Associate Chair, or Co-Chairs shall serve until their successor is appointed, provide continuity, support the Group’s leadership meetings and online presence, and perform all the duties incidental to the management.
- Advising Chair, or Co-Chairs serving until their successor is appointed, or after their term as the Chair(s) ends, shall be available for consultation to the Chair(s) and the Associate Chair(s).
- Communication / Media Team Leader(s) shall be assigned with administrative duties, communicate official business, post news items online, administer a designated group’s social media platform, have strong organizational and tech skills, be familiar with Zoom and SAH Commons.
- Administrator(s) serving until their successor is appointed, shall aid the Executive Administrator, and shall be responsible for secure maintenance of membership records.
- Mentoring Program Advisor(s) shall serve until their successor is appointed, and shall provide direction, training, and advising to program participants. They identify opportunities to engage students, promote the program to potential participants, and serve as the programs’ ambassador(s) to the SAH Women in Architecture Affiliate Group and the SAH Board.
- Special Events Coordinator(s) shall serve until their successor is appointed. The duties include the planning, promotion, and logistics of various events of the Group.
