at the Charnley-Persky House on October 12, 2017 now contributes timely and thoughtful consideration to Portman's legacy. In a co-sponsored program with MAS Context, Rice speaks about his recent work, Interior Urbanisim.

is Professor of Architecture at the University of Technology Sydney. He is the author of The Emergence of the Interior: Architecture, Modernity, Domesticity
(Routledge, 2007) and Interior Urbanism: Architecture, John Portman and Downtown America
(Bloomsbury, 2016). He is editor in chief of The Journal of Architecture
, the scholarly journal of the RIBA. He has been a member of SAH since 2003.
